We are seeking a Lead Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Gulf region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading civil engineering projects, ensuring high-quality design and execution while adhering to regulatory requirements. This role demands a seasoned professional who can mentor junior engineers and effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Oversee design, analysis, and construction processes to ensure project objectives are met.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project success.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Prepare and present project proposals, reports, and documentation to stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- 9-19 years of experience in civil engineering, with a strong background in project management.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is required.
- Proficient in civil engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SAP2000).
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in managing budgets, timelines, and project resources.
