Lead and manage
electrical commissioning activities to ensure all electrical systems are tested, safe, and ready for operation at yard and offshore.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical commissioning activities (pre-commissioning, energization, functional testing)
- Supervise and coordinate commissioning teams and contractors
- Review and approve electrical commissioning procedures and test packs
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, offshore standards, and safety requirements
- Interface with construction, engineering, I&C, HSE, and operations teams
- Support offshore commissioning and start-up activities
- Manage energization, punch lists, and commissioning documentation
- Report progress and resolve technical issues
Key Requirements
- 18+ years of oil & gas experience
- Strong offshore electrical commissioning experience
- Expertise in electrical systems (LV/MV/HV, generators, transformers, switchgear, UPS, lighting)
- Previous role as Lead / Senior Commissioning Engineer (Electrical)
- Experience working in fabrication yards and offshore installations
- Strong leadership and coordination skills
- Knowledge of international electrical and offshore standards
