Lead Construction Engineer - Civil

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

Lead construction engineers must be comfortable communicating design ideas because they will be working with other professionals including construction workers and architects.

Roles & Responsibilities:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide structural expertise for design, detailing, construction, load out, transportation and Installation of heavy offshore oil and gas and building sector

Drive construction schedule and ensure subcontractor work scopes

Coordinate daily job-site

Preparing and reviewing structural engineering design, studies, drawings and documents

Review designs in terms of constructability and load out considering allocated facility

Full structural calculation for different load cases. Static and dynamic analysis

Connection design (shop and Field)

Act as technical authority and represent the company

Support bidding process

Technical review of engineering consultant output where the work is subcontracted

Participate in design reviews and take necessary follow up actions

Implement the day-to-day operations assigned for the engineering department/ section to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures

You're a great fit if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 68 years of experience, in power/utility projects, including 3+ years in SEC substation projects.
• Previous SEC approval as Civil Engineer is preferred
• Fluent Written and Verbal English
• Knowledge of PMP or PRINCE2 methodologies is a plus
• Advanced Microsoft Office
