JOB PURPOSE
To act as a Lead Consultant – SAP SuccessFactors, responsible for leading end-to-end HR digital transformation initiatives, managing system changes, and serving as a functional and process expert.
The role ensures that SAP SuccessFactors solutions are designed, implemented, and continuously enhanced in alignment with business objectives, HR best practices, and enterprise standards.
The position ensures stable system operations, effective change adoption, and optimized end-to-end HR processes across the organization
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Leadership & Project Delivery
- Lead and manage end-to-end SAP SuccessFactors initiatives including implementations, enhancements, rollouts, and upgrades.
- Act as the primary subject matter expert across all project phases (initiation, design, build, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support).
- Coordinate with HR stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Manage project scope, timelines, dependencies, and risks effectively.
Functional Expertise (SuccessFactors Focus)
- Provide deep expertise across key modules such as:
- Employee Central
- Performance & Goals
- Recruiting & Onboarding
- Learning Management
- Compensation & Succession Planning
- Translate business requirements into scalable and standardized SuccessFactors solutions.
- Ensure optimal utilization of system capabilities while minimizing unnecessary customization.
Process Optimization & Governance
- Support the design, standardization, automation, and optimization of HR processes enabled by SAP SuccessFactors.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise standards, internal controls, and HR best practices.
- Monitor process performance and recommend corrective or preventive actions.
- Promote simplification and standardization across HR functions.
Change Management & System Control
- Manage system change requests including impact analysis, prioritization, approvals, testing, and deployment.
- Ensure all system changes are implemented in a controlled, risk-free manner.
- Support governance frameworks using approved tools and methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with system policies, audit requirements, and governance standards.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Identify opportunities to enhance system performance, user experience, and process efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across HR systems and services.
- Support digital transformation initiatives and long-term HR technology roadmap.
- Stay updated on SuccessFactors releases and recommend adoption of new features where relevant.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Act as a trusted advisor to HR and business users on system capabilities and best practices.
- Collaborate with implementation partners and vendors to ensure service quality and accountability.
- Review deliverables and ensure alignment with agreed scope and standards.
- Support knowledge transfer and capability building within internal teams.
Training & Adoption
- Support user training, communication, and change adoption initiatives.
- Ensure business readiness for system changes and new implementations.
- Promote effective system usage across the organization.
Education / Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Certifications (Preferred)
- SAP SuccessFactors Certification (Employee Central or other modules)
- SAP HCM / HRIS Certifications
- Six Sigma (Green Belt or above)
- ITIL
Experience
- 5–7 years of experience in HR systems, with strong focus on SAP SuccessFactors
- Proven experience leading full-cycle implementations and support projects
- Experience in HR transformation or digital HR initiatives is highly preferred
