About Us
The company is the digital-asset custody and infrastructure platform for the GCC. We hold institutional crypto safely, settle transactions across chains, and expose all of that as a developer API and a regulated-grade institutional console.
Why this role exists
The Company's Design Surface Is Bigger Than a Typical B2B Logo And Dashboard. The Hire Owns Three Surfaces At Once
- Brand. The Saudi-market trust signal. Arabic typography fluency. Regulator-friendly visual language. The voice we use with banks, fintechs, and sovereign-adjacent institutions.
- Product UI. Institutional console: transaction approval flows, role and permission dashboards, audit log surfaces, billing screens.
- Developer experience. Documentation site UX, code-snippet design, sandbox console, integration journey from sign-up to first signed transaction.
Most Saudi design candidates are strong on brand, partial on product UI, and unfamiliar with developer experience. We are explicitly looking for a designer who is comfortable across all three, or strong on two and credibly hungry on the third. Brand voice in MENA needs cultural fluency.
The Role
You will own design end-to-end with us:
Brand stewardship. Visual identity, voice, application across web, console, sales material, regulator facing decks, conference presence.
Product design. Lead design of the institutional console. Partner with Product and Engineering on every user-facing decision. Approval flows, role and permission design, audit trail surfacing.
Developer experience. Lead the design of the developer journey: documentation site, sandbox console, API reference, integration tutorials, code-snippet patterns.
Design operations. Set the bar. Build a small team (1 to 2 product designers and a brand-focused designer inside 18 months). Run portfolio reviews, critique culture, design QA.
Hiring. Source, screen, and close design hires. Build a Riyadh-based design bench.
Cross-functional partnership. Sit on the leadership team alongside Engineering, Product, and Compliance.
Must-haves
6-plus years of design practice, with
2-plus years in a lead or design-manager seat owning a shipped product surface measured by customers (NPS, time-to-integrate, conversion, retention).
B2B SaaS or fintech experience. You have designed a dashboard or console that paying customers use daily.
Arabic and English are fluent. Arabic as a native or working language. Comfortable picking type, copy, and tone in Arabic without translating from English in your head.
Portfolio depth in at least two of: brand identity, B2B product UI, developer-experience surface (docs, console, sandbox).
Has hired and managed at least one designer directly. Performance review experience preferred but not required.
Operates well with engineers. Has shipped designs that required pushback on engineering implementation, and has navigated that pushback constructively.
Strong written communication in both Arabic and English. Comfortable writing a one-pager that an engineer or a regulator can read in 5 minutes.
Nice-to-haves
Previous experience at a Saudi B2B SaaS, fintech, or regulator-adjacent product organization. Hands-on with Figma component libraries and design-system tooling at production scale. Prior experience designing for SAMA-regulated, CBUAE-regulated, or other financial-regulator-facing surfaces.
Public design writing or talks (Athar Festival, Creative Summit Riyadh, IxDA, regional design conferences). Comfort with developer-experience surfaces. Has worked alongside DevRel on a docs site. Has shipped a brand identity through a customer-facing rebrand or expansion.
Crypto or digital-asset domain familiarity.
