Lead E&I Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Lead/ Superintendent to lead and manage fabrication-yard E&I activities for Oil & Gas EPC projects. This role is critical in ensuring that all electrical and instrumentation works are executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and international standards.

Your Role
As Lead E&I Engineer, you will:
- Lead and supervise all electrical and instrumentation fabrication activities, including cable trays, junction boxes, control panels, instrument mounting, and pre-installation works.
- Ensure E&I fabrication activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedules.
- Plan and coordinate manpower, tools, materials, and subcontractors to achieve fabrication targets.
- Ensure strict compliance with HSE requirements, electrical safety standards, and company procedures.
- Coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, and construction teams to resolve technical issues and support inspection activities.
- Monitor progress, productivity, and quality, implementing corrective actions as required.
- Oversee inspection and testing activities such as continuity checks, insulation resistance tests, loop preparation, and FAT-related support where applicable.
- Support pre-commissioning and commissioning team as needed.
- Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and maintain accurate documentation.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 18 years of experience in Electrical & Instrumentation works, with strong exposure to Oil & Gas EPC fabrication projects.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Instrumentation, or related Engineering discipline)
- Expertise: Strong knowledge of E&I fabrication practices, wiring standards, instrumentation installation requirements, and applicable international codes. Experience with hazardous area requirements, grounding, and cable management systems. Proven leadership and team management skills. Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet demanding project schedules.
