Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from concept design, through FEED and EPC, up to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Utilize expertise in circuit design, PCB layout, and system-level testing to develop sound and cost-effective electrical solutions. This includes both digital and analog circuit design.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes professional growth and knowledge sharing. This includes conflict resolution and team building.
- Apply knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including power generation, embedded systems, and sensor integration, to enhance project outcomes.
- Identify potential risks in projects in relation to the electrical discipline, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project execution.
- Ensure all designs and implementations comply with industry regulations and electrical safety standards, such as the National Electric Code (NEC).
- Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources and schedule tasks to optimize project workflows, ensuring that all team members are effectively utilized.
- Conduct quality assurance checks and implement best practices in design.
- Work closely with clients to establish project requirements, provide cost estimations, and maintain regular communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay updated with industry advancements and integrate new technologies into engineering practices to enhance project outcomes.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
- +10 years of extensive experience in electrical engineering, with a proven track record of successful project delivery across various industries.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with relevant software tools, international codes, and standards for electrical design and analysis.
