Job Title: Lead Electrical Engineer Industrial Construction

Company Description

We are seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to lead and deliver electrical works across large-scale industrial construction projects. This role is ideal for a strong technical leader with hands-on site experience and proven capability in managing end-to-end electrical project execution.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 68 years of proven experience in electrical works within industrial projects (plants, factories, utilities, or similar environments).
  • Strong technical background in electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, low current systems, grounding, MDB/SMDB, generators, UPS, and industrial electrical installations.
  • Solid experience managing full project execution phases: planning, execution, quality control, testing, and commissioning.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
  • In-depth knowledge of project documentation and procedures, including Material Submittals, MIR, RFI, IR, Shop Drawings, Method Statements, and WIRs.
  • Strong understanding of safety standards, QA/QC procedures, and industrial authority regulations.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with civil, mechanical, instrumentation, low current, HSE, and QC teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills under pressure.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project planning tools (MS Project / Primavera preferred).
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all electrical construction activities for industrial projects, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
  • Plan, schedule, and supervise daily site operations, optimizing manpower, materials, and equipment utilization.
  • Provide technical leadership and hands-on guidance to site teams to ensure proper execution of industrial electrical installations.
  • Review, approve, and follow up on method statements, shop drawings, and all electrical-related project documentation.
  • Coordinate closely with project management, technical office, and multidisciplinary teams to resolve design and execution challenges.
  • Monitor project progress, productivity, and quality, ensuring alignment with approved schedules and milestones.
  • Ensure all electrical activities comply with safety regulations and QA/QC requirements.
  • Manage subcontractors, evaluate performance, and verify completed works prior to approvals.
  • Oversee testing, commissioning, and final handover of all electrical systems.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management.
  • Participate in project meetings and ensure clear, effective communication among all stakeholders.
