Job Title: Lead Electrical Engineer Industrial Construction

We are seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to lead and deliver electrical works across large-scale industrial construction projects. This role is ideal for a strong technical leader with hands-on site experience and proven capability in managing end-to-end electrical project execution.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 68 years of proven experience in electrical works within industrial projects (plants, factories, utilities, or similar environments).
- Strong technical background in electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, low current systems, grounding, MDB/SMDB, generators, UPS, and industrial electrical installations.
- Solid experience managing full project execution phases: planning, execution, quality control, testing, and commissioning.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
- In-depth knowledge of project documentation and procedures, including Material Submittals, MIR, RFI, IR, Shop Drawings, Method Statements, and WIRs.
- Strong understanding of safety standards, QA/QC procedures, and industrial authority regulations.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with civil, mechanical, instrumentation, low current, HSE, and QC teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project planning tools (MS Project / Primavera preferred).
- Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all electrical construction activities for industrial projects, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
- Plan, schedule, and supervise daily site operations, optimizing manpower, materials, and equipment utilization.
- Provide technical leadership and hands-on guidance to site teams to ensure proper execution of industrial electrical installations.
- Review, approve, and follow up on method statements, shop drawings, and all electrical-related project documentation.
- Coordinate closely with project management, technical office, and multidisciplinary teams to resolve design and execution challenges.
- Monitor project progress, productivity, and quality, ensuring alignment with approved schedules and milestones.
- Ensure all electrical activities comply with safety regulations and QA/QC requirements.
- Manage subcontractors, evaluate performance, and verify completed works prior to approvals.
- Oversee testing, commissioning, and final handover of all electrical systems.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management.
- Participate in project meetings and ensure clear, effective communication among all stakeholders.
