About the role

As a Lead Engineering Manager for eshara, you will lead one of the core technical workstreams (RF & antenna, testing & integration, or mechanical) to ensure robust design and delivery of SATCOM terminals.

You will provide deep expertise and day-to-day leadership across design, prototyping, integration, and test, working closely with Product Design and Project Delivery to meet program milestones and acceptance needs.

What you'll do

Lead technical execution for your workstream, from requirements interpretation through design maturity and readiness for integration and acceptance.

Own engineering planning and governance for your stream: tasking, technical decisions, reviews, and documentation quality.

Coordinate interfaces across other engineering streams and partners to ensure system-level alignment and integration readiness.

Drive problem solving and technical risk management, ensuring issues are tracked, resolved, and captured as lessons learned.

Coach and develop engineers and senior engineers, strengthening capability, discipline, and repeatable delivery.

What we're looking for

10+ years in SATCOM/telecom/defense/aerospace engineering, including leadership of complex technical workstreams.

Strong expertise in one of: RF/antenna systems, integration/test & validation, or mechanical/thermal design for ruggedized electronics.

Proven experience delivering hardware/system engineering through integration and acceptance milestones.

Strong engineering governance mindset (reviews, traceability, configuration/change discipline, documentation).

Experience working with external partners/OEMs and multi-stakeholder environments.
