Job Purpose
- Ensure adequate fraud monitoring is in place to prevent and mitigate incidence of both Internal & External Frauds, with a view to enhance controls.
- Develop an anti-fraud culture by creating and launching fraud awareness programs.
- Conduct investigations relating to incidences of actual, attempted or suspected Fraud, and all instances of major control breaches.
- Timely reporting to concerned parties on all Operational Risk & Fraud related matters.
Principal Accountabilities
- Investigate all cases referred to the Fraud Risk Department.
- Leverage existing systems and processes to mitigate and/or prevent the risk of fraud.
- Report Fraud cases to Central Bank. (SAR/STR)
- Devise specific training modules for areas, wherein the risk of potential/actual loss is of higher propensity
- Liaison with law enforcement & government officials.
- Internal Audit, External Audit and Regulatory reviews.
- Enhance and implement Fraud Risk Assessment (FRA) and Fraud Risk related thematic review with adequate sampling and provide recommendations to implement additional controls, if needed.
- Prepare and present reports as per requirements from HOD for onward submission to Senior Management, ORMC, RC & BRCC.
- Participate in fraud conferences and trainings.
Experience & Qualifications
- 10 Years of experience in Risk domain
- Bachelor's in finance, Business Administration or Law or any related fields
- Certified Fraud Examiner (ACFE)
- Must have worked in the Fraud Risk /Audit
- Experience in implementation of Application Fraud and Transaction Fraud detection systems
