Job Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable digital products and features.
- Build modern web applications using Vue 3 and TypeScript.
- Develop backend services and APIs with Node.js and AWS Serverless technologies.
- Design and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS CDK.
- Create scalable data solutions using DynamoDB and SQL databases.
- Drive architecture decisions, engineering best practices, and technical standards.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.
- Improve application performance, reliability, security, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience with proven technical leadership, architecture ownership, and mentoring capabilities.
- Strong expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, and modern frontend frameworks (Vue.js preferred, React/Angular acceptable).
- Hands-on experience building and deploying cloud-native applications using AWS CDK, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and SQL databases.
- Solid understanding of serverless/event-driven architectures, REST APIs, authentication/authorization, CI/CD, automated testing, and production deployments.
- Strong knowledge of data modelling, database design, and performance optimisation.
- Experience with AWS services such as SQS, SNS, EventBridge, Step Functions, IAM, and CloudWatch.
- Nice to have: Vue 3 Composition API, PostgreSQL/MySQL/Aurora, Playwright, AWS Cognito or Microsoft Entra ID, third-party integrations, DynamoDB data modelling, and AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Copilot/Codex).
