Lead - Governance, Risk & Compliance

JOB PURPOSE

The GRC Lead supports the development of the governance and risk management work plan, leads assigned GRC activities, assesses control effectiveness across MAGRABi operations, and supervises engagements while contributing to quarterly Board reports.

Qualifications and Education:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, or other relevant disciplines.

• Certification in GRC or Risk Management or equivalent is a plus.

Experience:

• 5-7 years of experience in governance, risk management or auditing (preferably in the retail industry)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborates in developing the operational GRC work plan.

• Responsible for planning and executing governance-related assignments and SOP development.

• Participates in organization-wide fraud risk assessments, including related reporting and awareness sessions for different teams.

• Participates in the planning phase of GRC engagements, ensuring timely submission of required documents for approval.

• Coordinates and facilitates various meetings, including kick-off meetings, process walkthroughs, and closing meetings for assigned engagements.

• Executes risk and control registers for assigned engagements.

• Drafts engagement reports outlining identified risks, impacts, and recommendations, and submits them for review.

• Participates in investigations related to fraud, illegal acts, irregularities, and other matters, as assigned.
