Strategic Contribution
- Ensure effective cascading of the HC strategy into operating plans to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration with other interfacing departmental strategies.
- Provide subject matter expertise in translating ADX's HC strategic vision and objectives into actionable plans and initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, while meeting employment demand needs.
- Provide functional expertise and support the development and implementation of relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) and their application across the business operations.
- Act as an advisor and support business leaders to achieve HC operational excellence in their respective areas.
- Provide counsel to business leaders in accountable areas to ensure focus on effective HC operations in line with business requirements.
Budgeting and Financial Planning
- Monitor and validate all departmental operations are conducted in line with the approved budget whilst reporting on any variances for managerial decision making.
- Provide functional expertise in preparing the departmental budget by preparing analysis and data related to specific elements as directed.
- Collaborate with line managers of assigned areas on their HC-related costs such as work force planning budget and review cycles of the budget.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
- Manage and ensure effective implementation of policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of HC departmental activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.
- Remain abreast with evolving labor laws and regulations, informing leadership of key changes to enable compliance across ADX's HC function.
- Lead the identification of improvement areas across HC policy and processes, to drive adherence and enhance employee experience.
- Communicate newly established policies to the business and act as an active change agent.
- Guide and support line managers on HC-related policies and provide advice and guidance on challenges when occurred.
- Ensure line managers are cascading HC-related policies and procedures to their teams in an effective approach.
Business Partnering
- Conduct regular daily/weekly meetings with respective business units to address HC matters, review reports, and provide solutions to raised challenges.
- Lead/analyze trends and metrics from the HC dashboards on respected assigned business areas to develop solutions, programs, and advice on policy changes.
- Participate in resolving complex employee relations (ER) issues working with the corporate ER team and providing advice to line managers.
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Support employees on challenges related to their career and work life and provide coaching and guidance in alignment with the HC policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all related HC reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet ADX's requirements, policies, and quality standards.
Strategic Workforce Planning
- Consult with senior leadership to identify key workforce and talent management needs, oversee effective workforce analysis, propose data-driven solutions, and influence strategic decision-making, while optimizing HC resources.
- Monitor workforce metrics offering feedback to senior management on quality, standardization, and efficiency of the processes across the recruitment lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of HC strategies with organizational goals.
Talent Management
- Contribute to the development of a comprehensive Talent Management strategy, aligned with the overall HC vision, including employee engagement initiatives, attracting, developing, and retaining top talent for sustained business growth.
- Collaborate with corporate Talent Management on recruitment lifecycle plans and processes for critical roles and leadership development programs to develop and sustain talent within ADX, bridging the skills gap across all departments.
- Oversee strategic sourcing, selection, and onboarding of high-performing talent to ensure their integrated and sustained success within the organization's critical roles
- Lead the strategic design of a talent pipeline for future critical roles, emphasizing succession planning and the implementation of proactive recruitment strategies to ensure a continuous pool of qualified and diverse candidates aligned with ADX's evolving business needs.
- Remain abreast of labor legislation and propose the implementation of necessary changes to ensure ADX's talent management initiatives remain compliant and up to date with market trends and changes, benefiting the organization and its employees.
- Partner with business leaders in advising how they can be effectively working towards having ADX operate as a talent-driven organization via having the right attention towards employees.
Employee Relations Management
- Provide subject matter expertise to managers on employee relations issues, including performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions, fostering a productive and positive work environment.
- Direct and oversee the timely identification and resolution of employee concerns, complaints, and grievances by liaising with employees, to ensure a supportive and conducive work environment in line with ADX policy and relevant labor regulations
Compensation and Benefits Management
- Contribute to developing and overseeing the implementation of compensation strategies and systems, ensuring fair and competitive salaries and benefits, as well as managing salary adjustments and bonuses, to attract and retain top talent making ADX the employer of choice.
- Lead the execution of compensation analyses, providing recommendations to maintain market competitiveness and align with organizational objectives.
- Drive the capitalization of employee recognition programs as a strategic tool to enhance morale and boost engagement within ADX, while contributing to the financial success of the organization.
- Provide strategic advice on employee benefits programs enrollment, communication, and administration, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other rewards, driving the effective management and communication of comprehensive employee benefits packages.
- Conduct benchmark studies regularly to assess market trends and ensure ADX's compensation remains competitive, fostering an attractive and competitive employment offering.
- Remain abreast of market trends and best practices while being compliant with company policies and regulations to inform compensation strategies and ensure competitive and legally compliant remuneration practices across the organization.
- Oversee the continuous updating and review of benefits packages based on ongoing market trends and employee needs, ensuring ADX provides comprehensive and relevant benefits to attract and retain top talent.
