Hiring: Lead Maintenance Technician – Solar Industry

Location: Jeddah 3rd Industrial City, Saudi Arabia

Experience: 5–8 Years

Industry: Solar Tracker / Manufacturing PV

Key Responsibilities

• Lead preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities across solar manufacturing operations.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, PLC, drives, motors, automation, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Ensure maximum equipment uptime and minimize breakdowns and production downtime.
• Lead and mentor maintenance technicians and coordinate daily maintenance activities.
• Perform RCA and implement corrective actions for recurring equipment failures.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, modifications, and automation improvements.
• Coordinate with OEMs, suppliers, contractors, Production, and Quality teams.
• Ensure compliance with LOTO, safety procedures, TPM, 5S, and maintenance standards.
• Manage maintenance records, spare parts requirements, and CMMS reporting.

Requirements

• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electro-Mechanical, Mechatronics or related field.
• 5–8 years of hands-on industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of PLC, automation, drives, motors, sensors, control systems, and electrical panels.
• Experience with automated production machinery and troubleshooting.
• Solar/PV manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work shifts and support emergency maintenance requirements.
