Lead Marine Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Advise on technical aspects of structural works and coordinate with project and tendering teams
• Perform structural analysis and provide expert-level technical support throughout the project lifecycle
• Deliver tender-phase documentation, including technical specifications, structural concepts, and preliminary drawings
• Review and validate detailed structural reports, including calculations, and recommend necessary corrections
• Manage the structural process from concept development to detailed documentation, covering specifications, quantities, and construction drawings
• Support bid preparation activities by contributing technical input and reviewing structural requirements
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and consistent structural solutions
• Conduct technical reviews by applying appropriate parameters and validating with data-driven reports and analysis
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC standards and apply correct engineering approaches in all phases of work
• Adapt to additional responsibilities beyond the defined scope, as needed, to meet operational or structural requirements
• Lead coordination meetings to ensure timely resolution of engineering issues and alignment across disciplines
• Mentor junior engineers by reviewing their work, providing guidance, and promoting technical growth within the team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Preferably Civil, Structural), or equivalent
• Minimum 10-15 years of relevant experience in related industries, dredging and civil marine project experience is highly preferred
