Penspen is urgently looking to hire Lead- Onshore Commissioning (Process & Utility) for one of our Offshore PMC projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE
Qualification Required
- The candidates should have Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all precommissioning and commissioning activities for process and utility systems at the onshore yard or fabrication site prior to offshore installation
- Develop systemwise and subsystemwise commissioning execution plans for process and utility systems.
- prepare commissioning procedures, method statements, and checklists in line with project specifications and international standards
- Review P&IDs, PFDs, cause & effect matrices, control narratives, and vendor documentation to define commissioning scope
- Lead and supervise execution of precommissioning activities: flushing, cleaning, leak testing, drying, calibration, functional checks, and loop testing
- Coordinate commissioning of process systems (separation, gas treatment, water injection, produced water, flare, utilities, etc.)
- Act as the primary interface between engineering, construction, vendors, and offshore commissioning teams
- Ensure all commissioning activities comply with project HSE standards and safe work practices
- Lead a multidisciplinary commissioning team (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, process, utilities)
Experience Required
- Minimum 15 TO 18+ years of experience in Oil & Gas commissioning, with at least 5 years in a lead role.
- Strong knowledge of offshore process and utility systems.
- Familiarity with international standards (API, ASME, IEC, ISO)
- PMC experience will be preferred
- Previous experience in the ADNOC projects in the similar role would be an added advantage
