Lead Piping Material Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Lead Piping Material Engineer to join our engineering team and support major EPC Oil & Gas projects. If you excel in complex project environments and have deep expertise in piping materials, this role is for you.

Your Role
As Lead Piping Material Engineer, you will:
- Lead the development of piping material engineering deliverables for EPC Oil & Gas projects, including: Material Selection Reports (MSR), Piping Material Specifications (PMS), Valve & Specialty Item Specifications, Piping Line Class Design
- Prepare and review Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE) for piping components (valves, fittings, gaskets, strainers, specialty items).
- Ensure compliance with EPC project processes, client specifications, and international codes (ASME, API, ASTM, ISO).
- Coordinate closely with process, mechanical, piping layout, procurement, and construction teams throughout all project stages.
- Review and validate vendor documents and ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Provide technical expertise during procurement, fabrication, FATs, installation, precommissioning, and startup.
- Participate in key reviews: 3D model reviews, HAZOP, HAZID, constructability, and value engineering.
What We're Looking For
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience piping material engineering experience, with strong exposure to EPC Oil & Gas projects..
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, (Mechanical/Materials, or related discipline.)
- Expertise : Proven experience in developing piping material deliverables from FEED to EPC. Strong working knowledge of ASME B31.3 / B31.1, API codes, ASTM materials, and Oil & Gas client standards.. Experience working with major EPC contractors or operating companies. Excellent problemsolving, communication, and leadership skills.
