Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Lead Planning Engineer with proven experience in EPC substation projects to manage planning functions, control timelines, and drive project performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the planning team across multiple projects.
- Develop and maintain baseline schedules, project programs, and detailed execution plans.
- Monitor project progress against planned schedules and identify delays, critical activities, and potential risks.
- Prepare progress reports, look-ahead schedules, recovery plans, and schedule updates.
- Coordinate closely with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Project Management teams.
- Review contractor/subcontractor schedules and assess schedule performance.
- Support project teams in developing mitigation and recovery strategies.
- Ensure effective planning, progress measurement, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- 8 years of experience in planning, preferably within Substations, Infrastructure, and EPC projects.
- Strong experience with Primavera P6 and project scheduling techniques.
- Solid understanding of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Testing & Commissioning activities.
- Experience in progress measurement, earned value, delay analysis, and recovery planning.
- Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
