Job Responsibility
- Schedule Development & Management: Define the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and develop multi-level project schedules (Level 1 to 4) using tools like Primavera P6. This includes establishing critical path methodologies and setting project baselines.
- Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Establish a Project Progress Measurement System to track performance. You will produce weekly/monthly reports, S-curves, histograms, and look-ahead plans to visualize status for stakeholders.
- Topside Integration Planning: Coordinate the sequencing of module fabrication, mechanical completion, and integration onto the FPSO hull.
- Change & Risk Management: Lead schedule risk analysis and perform what-if scenario planning to mitigate delays. Manage the impact of Change Orders on the project timeline and budget.
- Cost Control Interface: Collaborate with cost engineers to monitor expenditures against the budget, analyze variances, and support Earned Value Analysis (EVA).
- Team Leadership: Supervise a team of planning engineers and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure their schedules align with master project milestones.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Civil Engineering.
- Minimal 10 years in Offshore Oil & Gas, including 5+ years as a Lead Planner on EPC projects.
- Deep knowledge of FPSO topside fabrication and international standards (IMO/ISO).
- Expert in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Advanced Excel. Experience with PertMaster (Risk Analysis) is a plus.
- Advanced proficiency in CPM, PERT, and Earned Value Management (EVM).
