About the Role
This role is a hands-on leadership position focused on portfolio construction, execution oversight, and disciplined investment management. It is not a sales or asset-raising role.
Portfolio & Investment Management
- Lead portfolio construction and ongoing portfolio maintenance across client mandates.
- Implement the company's investment frameworks and model portfolios with discipline and consistency.
- Monitor portfolio performance, risk metrics, and deviations from strategy.
- Execute rebalancing decisions and oversee trade implementation in coordination with operations.
- Identify portfolio risks, concentration issues, and execution inefficiencies.
Investment Oversight & Governance
- Prepare periodic portfolio performance and risk reports for management and clients.
- Ensure investment activities comply with CMA regulations and internal investment policies.
- Support the Investment Committee with analysis, data, and execution feedback.
- Maintain clear documentation of investment decisions and rationale.
Team & Platform Development
- Act as the day-to-day investment lead as the asset management function scales.
- Contribute to improving investment processes, tools, and reporting workflows.
- Work closely with advisory and technology teams to support the company's AI-enabled investment model.
- Support training and development of junior investment or portfolio support staff as the team grows.
Required Experience & Skills
- 6–10 years of experience in portfolio management or asset management.
- Strong understanding of multi-asset portfolios (equities, fixed income, funds).
- Solid grasp of portfolio risk management and analytics.
- Hands-on, execution-oriented mindset.
- Comfortable operating in a growing, evolving firm.
- Strong Excel and portfolio analysis skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
- CFA (or progress toward CFA) preferred.
- Knowledge of CMA regulations required.
