Lead E&I QA/QC Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Lead E&I QA/QC Engineer to lead and oversee all Electrical & Instrumentation quality assurance and quality control activities across major projects. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, client requirements, and corporate quality policies while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

YOUR ROLE
As our Lead QA/QC Engineer (E&I, you will
Quality Assurance & Quality Control
- Develop, implement, and enforce project-specific QA/QC procedures.
- Ensure alignment with corporate quality standards, client specifications, and project requirements.
- Monitor QA/QC activities across all project phases to ensure full compliance.
Inspection & Testing Management
- Lead and oversee all E&I inspection and testing activities.
- Ensure inspections are conducted in accordance with approved ITPs, specifications, and project schedules.
- Review and approve inspection records, test reports, and quality documentation.
Non-Conformance & Corrective Actions
- Identify, document, and manage non-conformances (NCRs).
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor action effectiveness and ensure quality issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Quality Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain comprehensive QA/QC records, reports, logs, and documentation.
- Prepare regular quality performance reports for senior management.
- Analyze quality metrics, trends, and improvement opportunities.
Supplier & Subcontractor Quality Management
- Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quality systems and performance.
- Verify compliance of materials, equipment, and services with project requirements.
- Coordinate corrective actions and quality improvement initiatives with external parties.
Risk Management & Compliance
- Conduct quality risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, project quality requirements, and regulatory obligations.
- Support and prepare teams for internal, external, and client audits.
Continuous Improvement
- Drive quality improvement initiatives throughout project execution.
- Identify opportunities to enhance processes, reduce defects, and improve performance.
- Promote lessons learned and best practices across project teams.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the primary QA/QC interface with clients and project stakeholders.
- Lead quality meetings and provide technical guidance on quality-related issues.
- Collaborate with engineering, construction, procurement, and commissioning teams.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop QA/QC engineers, inspectors, and quality professionals.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance.
- Conduct training sessions on quality standards, project requirements, and company procedures.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Education / Certifications / Licenses
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
- Master's Degree is an advantage.
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification is a must
Experience
- Minimum 12 years of experience in Quality Management within the Oil & Gas, Construction, EPC, Energy, or Power sectors.
- Proven experience leading QA/QC teams on large-scale industrial projects.
- Strong background in Electrical & Instrumentation quality management and inspection activities.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and industry quality standards
- Expertise in QA/QC systems, inspection processes, and auditing practices
- Proven experience in root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership and people management capabilities
- Proficiency in quality management software and data analysis tools

- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive quality culture
