Lead -Social Media (Growth Marketing) - Freelancer

This is a temporary/freelance, on-site position based in Doha, Qatar.

We are looking for a Social Media Lead to support TOD's Marketing team in planning, creating, and publishing engaging bilingual content across our social media platforms, with a strong focus on sports and entertainment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare a monthly bilingual content calendar covering sports and entertainment.
• Plan content for football, Formula 1, tennis, movies, series, TOD Originals, and priority events.
• Cover relevant matches, events, and competitions across TOD's social media platforms.
• Create and edit engaging social-first video content tailored to each platform.
• Publish approved content across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, X, and other relevant platforms.
• Write clear, engaging, and platform-appropriate captions in both Arabic and English.
• Adapt content quickly in response to live events, changing priorities, and audience trends.
• Coordinate content concepts, production, approvals, and publishing with the TOD team.
• Ensure all content follows TOD's brand, editorial, quality, and platform guidelines.
• Submit content for approval and incorporate requested revisions promptly.
• Track approved and produced content pieces for reporting and monthly invoicing.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in social media content planning, creation, and publishing.
• Strong understanding of sports and entertainment content.
• Experience creating social-first and short-form video content.
• Strong knowledge of major social media platforms and current content trends.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and react quickly to live events.
• Strong coordination, organization, and attention to detail.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English is required.
