Job Description

Job Title: Lead Specialist, Supply Chain Reporting & Analytics

Reporting To: Manager, Contract Administration

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 7 - 9 years of relevant experience in procurement reporting and contract administration within mining, petrochemical, industrial, or related sectors.
  • Proven expertise in ERP systems (e.g., SAP MM), business intelligence tools, and data visualization platforms.

Job Purpose

To lead the development and management of reporting and analytics within the Procurement function. This role ensures accurate, timely, and insightful data analysis to support strategic decision-making, compliance monitoring, and performance optimization. The position drives digital transformation in reporting processes by leveraging advanced tools and methodologies to enhance transparency and efficiency, including the use of standard ERP tools and Project Management Information Systems (PMIS).

Key Responsibilities

Data Management & Reporting

  • Design and maintain dashboards and reports focused on contract performance, compliance, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all procurement and contract administration systems.

Analytics & Insights

  • Analyze trends related to contract variations, claims, and milestones to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to management to aid strategic planning and dispute avoidance.

Process Optimization & Technology Adoption

  • Automate reporting workflows using ERP, PMIS, and business intelligence tools to improve operational efficiency.
  • Recommend improvements to data governance and analytics frameworks to enhance reporting quality.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate closely with Contract Administration and Procurement teams to ensure reporting aligns with evolving business needs.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and reports for senior management and project teams.

Skills & Competencies

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and SQL.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate reports under tight deadlines.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and adopting new analytics tools and methodologies.
