Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven professional with expertise in structural design, construction, and engineering works. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and project management skills, with a deep understanding of construction procedures, subcontractor coordination, and contract administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage structural engineering projects from concept through execution, ensuring compliance with design standards and project specifications
- Oversee the preparation, review, and approval of structural shop drawings and material submittals
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors to ensure timely and quality project delivery
- Identify and resolve technical issues, providing effective solutions to construction challenges
- Prepare and assess variation orders, ensuring accurate documentation and cost control
- Ensure adherence to project procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Interpret and apply FIDIC contracts and construction law in project execution and dispute resolution
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and project staff
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in structural design and construction project management
- Proven ability to manage complex engineering projects and lead cross-functional teams
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, construction law, and industry regulations
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in engineering software and project management tools
