Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead Talent Management Consultant to design and implement enterprise-wide Talent Management frameworks and HR transformation initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in translating Talent Management strategy into practical, scalable frameworks and successfully implementing them across large organisations.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Management Strategy & Framework
- Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive Talent Management strategies and frameworks.
- Develop integrated talent processes covering performance, potential, career development, succession and talent reviews.
- Align Talent Management frameworks with business strategy and future workforce requirements.
High-Potential (HiPo) Management
- Design and implement High-Potential (HiPo) identification and assessment frameworks.
- Establish criteria and methodologies to identify, assess and segment high-potential talent.
- Lead talent reviews and calibration processes to validate HiPo populations.
- Develop HiPo development and acceleration programs, including individual development plans, mentoring, coaching and career acceleration.
- Integrate HiPo management with succession planning, critical-role pipelines and career frameworks.
- Establish governance, metrics and dashboards to monitor HiPo development, retention and readiness.
Competency & Career Frameworks
- Design and implement competency frameworks, job families and career architecture.
- Develop competency models aligned with organisational capabilities and future workforce requirements.
- Establish career pathways and development frameworks.
Performance & Succession Management
- Lead the design and implementation of performance management frameworks.
- Develop succession planning and talent review methodologies for critical roles.
- Establish talent assessment and calibration approaches to support evidence-based talent decisions.
HR Transformation & Systems Implementation
- Lead the implementation of Talent Management solutions and HR technology platforms.
- Translate business and HR requirements into functional and system specifications.
- Coordinate with technology teams, vendors and client stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Support testing, configuration, data migration, training and go-live activities.
Project & Stakeholder Management
- Lead end-to-end Talent Management workstreams and ensure delivery against agreed scope, timelines and quality standards.
- Facilitate workshops with HR leadership and senior business stakeholders.
- Manage senior client relationships and provide expert advisory support.
- Identify implementation risks and develop practical mitigation actions.
Required Skills & Competencies
- 10+ years of experience in Talent Management, HR Transformation or HR Consulting.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing Talent Management frameworks.
- Strong hands-on experience in High-Potential (HiPo) Management, including identification, assessment, calibration and development.
- Strong expertise in succession planning, talent reviews and performance management.
- Experience in developing competency frameworks and career architecture.
- Proven experience in HRIS / Talent Management systems implementation.
- Strong consulting, stakeholder management and project leadership capabilities.
- Experience engaging with C-suite and senior HR executives.
- Strong workshop facilitation, communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in change management, training and organisational adoption.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organisational Psychology or a related discipline.
- Relevant professional certifications in HR, Talent Management, Change Management or Project Management are preferred.
- Experience working with large organisations and complex HR transformation programmes is highly desirable.
