Role Summary:

SSH are seeking a Lead Technical Architect who will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and delivery of architectural projects, ensuring they meet client expectations, regulatory requirements, and design excellence. This position involves leading design teams, managing project workflows, and collaborating with clients and stakeholders to deliver innovative and sustainable architectural solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Leadership:

• Develop and oversee architectural concepts, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Guide the design team to maintain design intent and quality throughout all project phases.

Project Management:

• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration across disciplines.
• Lead project reviews and resolve technical and design challenges.

Client Engagement:

• Serve as the primary client contact, building strong relationships and addressing their needs.
• Present design concepts and updates to clients and stakeholders.

Team Leadership:

• Mentor and guide junior architects and design staff.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.

Technical Expertise:

• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.
• Oversee quality control during construction documentation and administration.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
• Licensed architect (or equivalent certification).
• 12+ years of professional experience, including leading large-scale projects.
• Strong design portfolio demonstrating innovation and technical expertise.
• Proficiency in design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and presentation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Familiarity with sustainable design practices and principles.
