Job Summary:
- Lead the coordination of urban planning, master planning and design activities of local projects
- Work cross-functionally and foster strong relationship with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of urban planning and design policies.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide planning guidance regarding masterplan, design guidelines, and project development.
- Create and update the design guidelines and building regulations for Lusail's districts that best meet masterplan's vision.
- Create and update the parcel plans for individual plots that best meet masterplan's vision.
- Prepare studies, reports, and recommendations on existing patterns of urban policy and its impact on market trends.
- Manage and continually improve the accuracy of the database related to Lusail's buildings and population.
- Provide the required information and support regarding the cadastral survey works which aimed to establish or re-establish property boundaries.
- Lead the correspondences and communications for the requests of; land adjustment, modification on plot access, modification on utilities, & GFA change.
- Provide the technical support for Building Permit team to ensure that the submitted building designs are in line with the vision of Lusail masterplan.
- Managing day-to-day requests from Lusail's stakeholders (mega-developers, sub-developers, and consultants) regarding the projects development proposals.
- Create and update the guidelines for buildings signages and commercial activities for Lusail city in coordination with the concerned authorities.
- Lead the periodic survey for Lusail city and prepare the reports to investigate the violations of buildings signages & commercial activities.
- Liaise with government authorities to enhance and streamline the services that provided by the department.
Experience Requirements:
- 7+ years of practical experience in real estate master planning across asset classes, with large developers
- Demonstrated high-level understanding of government processes, policy development and analysis, related to land use planning, land management, and town planning requirements
- Knowledge of city ordinances, rules and regulations regarding land use, zoning, permits, etc.
Education Requirement:
- Bachelor Engineering Degree in, architecture, urban planning or urban design
