As a Learning & Assessment Consultant, you will be a driving force in a passionate team that is embracing change and constantly searching for better ways to meet the needs of our customers.
About The Role
You will be responsible for proactively growing our English learning and assessment business in Egypt, building strong relationships with customers, schools, channel partners and other partner organisations. Working closely with colleagues across Commercial, Marketing and Operations, you will contribute to agreed business development targets and represent Cambridge English in the local market.
While the role is focused on Egypt, you may also have opportunities to contribute to wider North Africa projects as part of your professional development, working with colleagues across the region and gaining exposure to different markets and strategic initiatives.
By developing a deep understanding of our customers, partners and the wider market, you will help organisations identify learning and assessment solutions that meet their needs, while providing valuable insight to strengthen our offer and support future growth. You will maintain accurate and comprehensive records of customer activity and market intelligence in Salesforce, supporting effective planning, customer service and forecasting.
Travel Requirements
Regular travel across Egypt to meet customers and partners is a core part of this role. This may involve overnight stays approximately two to three times per month, as well as occasional international travel approximately two to three times per year.

You will be comfortable engaging with a wide range of customers and partners, from teachers and schools to educational institutions and distributors, and will enjoy working in a role that combines business development, market insight and customer engagement.

- Developing new business opportunities and supporting existing customers to increase engagement with Cambridge English learning and assessment solutions.
- Building productive relationships with schools, educational institutions, distributors, agents and exam centres.
- Maintaining an accurate pipeline of leads and opportunities, with customer activity and planning information recorded in Salesforce.
- Contributing market knowledge, customer feedback and competitor insight to local and regional Cambridge English strategy.
- Delivering engaging presentations and workshops to customers and partners, both in person and online.
About You
We are looking for someone who combines a passion for English language education with strong relationship-building and communication skills. You will be comfortable engaging with a wide range of customers and partners, from teachers and schools to educational institutions and distributors, and will enjoy working in a role that combines business development, market insight and customer engagement.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A minimum C1 level in both English and Arabic, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional experience teaching English and a strong understanding of English language teaching and assessment.
- The ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, partners and other stakeholders.
- Strong public-speaking and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage individuals and groups both in person and online.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn new business systems, including Salesforce, Concur and Power BI.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- An English language teaching qualification.
- Consultative selling or business development experience.
- Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce.
- Experience delivering workshops, training sessions or creating content for digital and social media channels.
