Purpose of the Role
The Learning & Development Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-quality learning solutions across ALJ entities.
This role requires strong instructional design expertise, hands-on experience in building e-learning modules using Articulate, and the ability to manage end-to-end digital learning creation and deployment through an LMS.
The objective is to deliver scalable, engaging, and measurable learning experiences aligned with business priorities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Instructional Design & Content Development
- Lead end-to-end instructional design process (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation)
- Translate business needs into structured learning journeys and digital learning solutions
- Develop interactive e-learning modules using Articulate (Storyline / Rise preferred)
- Create engaging learning videos, microlearning content, and blended learning materials
2. LMS Management & Deployment
- Upload, configure, and manage courses on the corporate LMS
- Ensure proper tracking, reporting, and learner analytics
- Conduct testing and quality assurance before deployment
- Optimize learning paths based on completion data and feedback
3. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with HRBPs and business leaders to identify capability gaps
- Conduct training needs analysis and propose learning solutions
- Manage external vendors when required
- Provide guidance on digital learning best practices
4. Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Define learning KPIs (completion rates, assessment scores, engagement metrics)
- Evaluate effectiveness of learning interventions
- Continuously enhance content quality and learner experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or related field
- 4-5 years of experience in Learning & Development
- Proven instructional design experience from concept to final delivery
- Strong hands-on experience with Articulate (Storyline and/or Rise)
- Demonstrated experience building and deploying e-learning modules and video content on an LMS
- Experience in corporate / multinational environments preferred
Technical Skills
- Instructional design frameworks (ADDIE or similar)
- LMS administration and reporting
- Articulate (mandatory)
- Video creation/editing tools (Camtasia, Vyond, Adobe, or equivalent preferred)
