Role Description
1. Training Strategy & Planning- Develop and execute the L&D strategy aligned with business and commercial objectives.
- Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) for Medical Representatives, Sales Teams, and Office Functions.
- Build structured training calendars (monthly/quarterly).
2. Sales & Medical Training-Design and deliver training programs on:
- Product knowledge (scientific & promotional)
- Selling skills and negotiation techniques
- Field force effectiveness
- Ensure alignment with marketing and medical departments.
3. Onboarding & Induction- Develop comprehensive onboarding programs for new hires (especially Medical Reps).
- Ensure fast ramp-up and readiness for fieldwork.
4. Performance & Development- Identify competency gaps and create development plans.
- Support performance management cycles through training interventions.
- Build Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for high-potential employees.
5. Leadership Development-Design development programs for:
- Line Managers
- District Managers
- Future leaders
-Coach managers on team development and performance improvement.
6. Training Delivery- Conduct classroom, field, and on-the-job training sessions.
- Accompany field force (field visits) to assess performance and coaching needs.
- Manage external trainers when needed.
7. Evaluation & Reporting- Measure training effectiveness (pre/post assessments, field performance).
- Track ROI on training initiatives.
- Submit monthly reports on training impact and progress.
8. Learning Culture- Promote a continuous learning environment.
- Implement digital learning tools and microlearning where applicable.
Qualifications & RequirementsEducation- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, Medicine, Science, or Business Administration
- L&D certifications (CIPD, TOT, or equivalent) are a plus
Experience (MANDATORY)- 5–8 years of experience in Learning & Development
- MUST have experience in Pharmaceutical or Cosmeceutical companies
- Proven experience in training Medical Representatives and Sales Teams
- At least 2–3 years in a managerial role
