Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Learning & Development Manager / Section Manager to drive learning initiatives and foster a culture of continuous development within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for identifying organizational capability needs, designing and delivering impactful learning programs, enhancing employee engagement, and leveraging digital learning solutions to support business growth and workforce development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead learning and development initiatives to support organizational capability building and business objectives.
- Identify individual and organizational training needs through collaboration with business stakeholders.
- Design, develop, and deliver engaging learning programs using adult learning methodologies and industry best practices.
- Plan, coordinate, and facilitate onboarding, technical, leadership, and professional development programs.
- Drive employee engagement through effective learning communication strategies and development initiatives.
- Develop and implement digital learning solutions to improve learning accessibility, efficiency, and adoption.
- Manage Learning Management System (LMS) administration, training records, and learning content.
- Analyze training effectiveness through learning metrics, dashboards, and reporting to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with external training providers, government agencies, and educational institutions to support workforce development initiatives and available funding opportunities.
- Support day-to-day L&D operations, including training logistics, scheduling, vendor coordination, and continuous process improvements.
Ideal Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5-8 years of experience in Learning & Development, instructional design, talent development, or corporate training within a mid-sized or large organization.
- Strong experience in designing, developing, and facilitating both classroom and digital learning programs.
- Hands-on experience managing a Learning Management System (LMS), preferably SAP SuccessFactors Learning or a similar platform.
- ACTA certification or equivalent adult learning qualification is highly preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing or semiconductor environments is an advantage.
- Strong project management, analytical, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
