Learning Support Assistant for the academic year 2026-2027. We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive educational environment and are seeking a collaborative and enthusiastic individual to assist students with unique learning needs at
GEMS British International School of Madinaty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with diverse learning requirements by implementing tailored educational strategies and interventions
- Assist in the development and maintenance of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students in need of additional academic support
- Work alongside teachers to modify lessons and learning resources, ensuring accessibility for all students
- Monitor and report on student engagement and progress, providing essential insights for instructional adjustments
- Encourage positive social interactions and assist students in developing their communication skills during group activities
- Keep informed of ongoing developments in educational practices related to special needs education
- Contribute to a nurturing classroom atmosphere that values diversity and promotes student well-being
Requirements
- A degree or relevant qualification in Education, Special Education, or a related field
- Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar educational role is highly desirable
- Understanding of various learning disabilities and effective support techniques
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with students, educators, and parents
- Empathy, patience, and a strong commitment to supporting individual student needs
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to a dynamic educational environment
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive approah to problem-solving
