A highly organized and performance-driven Leasing & Rental Manager to oversee fleet operations, leasing contracts, and rental services. This role focuses on maximizing fleet utilization, controlling costs, and ensuring seamless end-to-end management of vehicles across leasing and rental channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Fleet Management & Utilization:
- Manage the full lifecycle of the fleet (procurement, registration, deployment, maintenance, and disposal).
- Monitor and optimize fleet utilization, idle time, and rotation.
- Ensure vehicles are roadworthy, clean, and compliant with regulations at all times.
- Coordinate with service and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
Leasing & Rental Operations:
- Oversee long-term leasing and short-term rental operations.
- Develop and manage leasing contracts, SLAs, and pricing structures.
- Ensure proper vehicle allocation based on client requirements.
- Monitor contract renewals, extensions, and terminations.
Cost Control & Budgeting:
- Manage fleet-related costs including maintenance, insurance, fuel, and depreciation.
- Prepare budgets and track expenses vs. targets.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.
Business Development & Client Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate fleet clients.
- Identify opportunities for expanding fleet leasing contracts.
- Handle key accounts and negotiate large-scale agreements.
Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure all vehicles meet local regulatory requirements (registration, insurance, licensing).
- Maintain accurate records of fleet data, contracts, and usage.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and legal standards.
Reporting & Analytics:
- Track KPIs such as utilization rate, revenue per vehicle, downtime, and maintenance costs.
- Generate regular performance and financial reports.
- Use data insights to improve operational efficiency.
Team Management:
- Supervise fleet coordinators, drivers, and support staff.
- Provide training and performance management.
- Ensure adherence to safety and operational standards.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Automotive, or related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in fleet management, automotive leasing, or rental operations.
- Strong knowledge of fleet systems, telematics, and vehicle lifecycle management.
- Experience handling large fleets (50+ vehicles preferred).
- Strong financial and operational acumen.
