Role Description

As a Leasing Officer in the dynamic Real Estate / Leasing sector, you play a crucial role in the success of the company by managing property leases, attracting tenants, and ensuring high occupancy rates. Your work directly impacts team collaboration and company goals by optimizing property utilization and enhancing revenue streams. In this ever-evolving industry, you must stay abreast of innovations, challenges, and trends such as smart building technologies, sustainability initiatives, and changing tenant preferences. Key stakeholders you interact with include property owners, tenants, maintenance teams, and senior management, positioning you at the forefront of the company's leasing operations. Success in this role is measured by metrics like lease renewal rates, occupancy levels, tenant satisfaction scores, and revenue generated from lease agreements.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Project Planning and Execution:You will be responsible for strategizing, planning, and executing leasing projects to maximize property occupancy and revenue.
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making:Addressing tenant concerns, negotiating lease terms, and resolving conflicts are pivotal aspects of your role that require quick thinking and sound decision-making skills.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:Working closely with marketing, legal, finance, and property management teams to ensure seamless leasing processes and tenant satisfaction.
  • Leadership and Mentorship:Providing guidance to junior leasing staff, coordinating team efforts, and fostering a collaborative environment within the leasing department.
  • Process Improvement and Innovation:Identifying opportunities to streamline leasing procedures, implementing innovative leasing strategies, and enhancing the overall leasing experience for tenants.
  • Technical or Customer-Facing Responsibilities:Utilizing property management software, conducting property tours, preparing lease documents, and maintaining positive tenant relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Business or any related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in real estate leasing, property management, or related roles. Knowledge of lease negotiations and tenant laws.
