Job Description

The Corporate or Retail Car Leasing Sales Consultant serves as the primary point of contact for both showroom walk-in customers and online leads, with leasing new or used vehicles. This role is responsible for promoting and selling vehicle lease options, with a strong knowledge of available car models, guiding clients through the leasing process, negotiating lease terms, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The sales consultant combines sales, customer service, and marketing skills to achieve leasing targets and support the growth of the business

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Customer Engagement

Greet and assist walk-in customers in the showroom, providing detailed information about available vehicles and lease options.

Conduct vehicle test drives, demonstrating the features and benefits of different models.

Respond promptly to online inquiries and leads, following up via phone, email, or messaging platforms to convert interest into showroom visits and direct leases.

Conduct needs analysis to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable vehicles and lease packages, based on their preferences, needs, and budget.

Negotiate lease terms and finalize agreements in line with the company policy, ensuring both customer satisfaction and company profitability.

Offer guidance on lease terms, monthly payments, mileage limits, and other financial aspects of the lease.

2. Product Knowledge and Recommendations:

Stay up-to-date on the latest car models, features, and manufacturer incentives to provide customers with accurate, up-to-date information.

Assist customers in understanding the benefits of leasing versus purchasing a vehicle, and recommend the most suitable leasing options based on their needs.

3. Sales & Leasing Process:

Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly leasing and sales targets set by the management.

Process leasing applications, submit credit checks, and negotiate financing or lease terms with financial institutions.

Guide customers through the entire leasing process, including test drives, application, negotiation, and contract signing.

Prepare and explain lease agreements, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all vehicle models, features, pricing, and current promotions.

4. Lead Management:

Manage and nurture leads generated from both walk-in traffic and online platforms.

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, follow-ups, and sales progress in the CRM system.

5. Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring they are satisfied with their lease experience and more likely to return for future business or referrals.

Follow up with existing customers to discuss lease renewals, maintenance, and upgrades.

Address any customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally to ensure high customer satisfaction

6. Administrative and Operational Duties:

Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, lease agreements

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of leased vehicles.

Report on sales performance, market trends and customer feedback to sales manager.

7. Marketing and Promotion:

Participate in dealership promotions, events, and marketing campaigns to attract new customers and drive leasing activity.

Implement creative marketing strategies to attract new leads and increase lease conversions, into business opportunities.

Stay informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and industry best practices
