Position Description:

The German University in Cairo is looking for highly able and motivated applicants wishing to join the Mathematics Department. Successful candidates will be expected to contribute in undergraduate and graduate teaching of mathematics courses, to lead research in various fields of mathematics, supervise graduate and undergraduate students, and take part in administrative work.

Qualifications:

• Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in a mathematical branch of study, with solid knowledge of mathematical methods in engineering.
• The ideal candidate will be an energetic researcher who is committed to excellence in research and teaching within a multi-cultural environment.
