Job Description
Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi invites applications for a Lecturer in Mathematics position with teaching responsibilities based at the Zayed Military University (ZMU) campus.

Key Accountabilities
Teaching
- Design and deliver undergraduate mathematics courses, primarily within the Foundation Year.
- Develop engaging teaching materials, assessments and learning activities that foster critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and students ability to engage in autonomous learning.
Student Support and Academic Advising
- Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students.
- Support the development of students analytical skills.
Academic and Administrative Service
- Participate in departmental and university service activities.
- Contribute to program development, curriculum review, and academic governance where appropriate.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree/PhD Degree preferred in Mathematics or Engineering or any other relevant discipline from an accredited higher education institute.
- Teaching experience in Mathematics in a senior secondary/high school setting. Teaching experience within the higher education sector is highly desirable.
- Professional proficiency in English is mandatory. IELTS certification or equivalent qualification is an asset.
- Strong commitment to effective and student-centred teaching practices. Readiness and capacity to supervise and mentor students.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural academic environment.
- Knowledge of Arabic and/or French is considered an asset.
- Advanced pedagogical skills and proficiency in educational technologies and online learning platforms are considered an asset.
