Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering Design at Misr University for Science and Technology, located in Cairo. The role involves preparing and delivering lectures, facilitating classroom discussions, supervising student projects, and providing academic mentorship. The Lecturer will be responsible for designing and updating course materials, conducting research in the field of mechanical engineering design, and contributing to departmental activities. While the position is primarily campus-based, some remote work flexibility will be provided.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering Design principles, proficiency in CAD software, and mechanical systems analysis.
• Teaching and academic experience, curriculum development, and ability to conduct impactful research.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and public speaking skills.
• Experience with project supervision and student mentorship, as well as collaborative teamwork in academia.
• Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline is preferred; master's degree required.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry advancements.
• Familiarity with blended or online teaching methods is a plus.
• I graduated from Militery Technical college in 1994, getting MSc. From MTC in 2000
• I got PhD from strathclyde university Uk in 2007
