Job Description

Job Title: Legal Advisor

Job Purpose:

Provide expert legal counsel and support to ensure the organization's operations, decisions, and agreements are fully compliant with applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal instruments

• Provide legal opinions and advice on a wide range of matters including governance, compliance, procurement, and regulatory affairs

• Conduct legal research and prepare briefs, reports, and recommendations for leadership

• Review and advise on institutional policies, procedures, and internal frameworks

• Liaise with external legal counsel and relevant government authorities as needed

• Identify potential legal risks and propose appropriate mitigation measures

• Support dispute resolution and manage legal proceedings when required

• Ensure all organizational activities comply with local and international legal requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB); Master's degree or professional legal qualification is an advantage

• Minimum 5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably within a governmental, semi-governmental, or international organization

• Full professional proficiency in Arabic and English (written and spoken) is mandatory

• Strong knowledge of applicable local laws and regulatory frameworks

• Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills

• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional judgment

• Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under tight deadlines
