Job Description

We are seeking a Legal Affairs Manager to lead the company's legal affairs, litigation, contracts, governance, and regulatory advisory activities. The role will protect the company's rights and interests before judicial, governmental, and regulatory authorities while providing strategic legal support to senior management and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and approve legal memoranda, statements of claim, and submissions to courts, judicial committees, and quasi-judicial bodies.
  • Represent the company before Sharia courts, judicial committees, and quasi-judicial authorities to protect the company's rights and interests.
  • Follow up on all litigation cases and manage their progress until final resolution.
  • Oversee the drafting, review, negotiation, and approval of commercial contracts and agreements.
  • Identify legal risks in contracts, agreements, and business transactions, and provide recommendations to senior management.
  • Provide strategic legal advice to all departments and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Oversee internal investigations and ensure they are conducted in accordance with approved legal procedures.
  • Organize Board of Directors activities, including agendas, minutes, resolutions, and official documentation.
  • Follow up on Board decisions and ensure alignment with legal and governance requirements.
  • Lead and develop the legal team by providing guidance, training, and professional development support.
  • Prepare periodic reports on legal cases, department activities, achievements, risks, and recommendations.
  • Contribute to the development of internal policies and procedures related to legal compliance and corporate governance.
  • Perform any other legal duties within the scope of the role as assigned by the direct manager.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Regulations, or a related legal field; master's degree in Law or Business Administration is preferred.
  • Licensed to practice law by the Ministry of Justice in Saudi Arabia.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in legal affairs, including at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Proven experience representing companies before Sharia courts, judicial committees, and quasi-judicial authorities.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant Saudi laws, including Companies Law, Labor Law, Law of Civil Procedures, Consumer Protection regulations, and Anti-Commercial Fraud Law.
  • Experience in contracts, litigation, legal advisory, board affairs, and corporate governance.
  • Strong legal drafting, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
