We are looking for a highly skilled Transactional Lawyer to join a dynamic and fast-paced organization in the UAE. This role is ideal for a legal professional with strong expertise in corporate transactions, contract negotiation, and compliance, who is keen to work on high-value and complex deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex transactional documents, including joint venture agreements, shareholder agreements, and commercial contracts.
- Provide strategic legal advice on corporate and commercial transactions while mitigating legal risks.
- Support M&A activities, corporate structuring, and business expansion initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with UAE laws and international best practices.
- Develop and implement compliance frameworks (Whistleblowing, Code of Conduct, Conflict of Interest, etc.).
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external counsel to drive successful deal execution.
- Conduct legal research and support policy development and governance initiatives.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of legal experience, with minimum 5 years in the UAE.
- Common law qualification / Western education is mandatory.
- Strong background in corporate law, commercial contracts, and transactional work.
- Experience with top-tier law firms or reputable in-house environments preferred.
- Fluent in English (native or equivalent); Arabic is a strong advantage.
- Proven expertise in drafting and negotiating high-value agreements.
