Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Legal Assistant - Intellectual Property, Contracts & Data Privacy, located in Dubai. As a Legal Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting our legal team by drafting, reviewing, and editing contracts, conducting legal research, assisting with intellectual property matters, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations, and more. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders will be critical for success in this role.
Current Requirement
We are seeking a motivated and experienced legal assistant to provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to our lawyers and the firm.
Responsibilities:
oCoordinate appointments and meetings for lawyers.
oManage deadlines and calendars for lawyers and the firm.
oManage office supplies and equipment, ensuring smooth operations.
oMaintain a clean and professional office environment.
oManage email communication with clients in a professional and timely manner.
oAcknowledge/ respond to client inquiries and direct them to the appropriate lawyer.
oPrepare and send legal documents and correspondence to clients.
oMaintain a comprehensive filing system for legal documents and other records.
oAssist lawyers with drafting legal documents, including contracts, letters, and court/ arbitral filings.
oConduct legal research and prepare legal summaries and briefs.
oAssist with the registration of wills and other legal documents.
oPrepare presentations and reports as needed.
oStay up-to-date on legal developments relevant to the firm's practice areas.
oAssist with accounts payable and receivable.
oCreate and maintain accurate and up-to-date client and financial records.
oPrepare and send invoices to clients in accordance with firm policies.
