Legal Counsel

We are seeking a bilingual (Arabic and English) candidate with at least 6 years (or more) of legal experience, working for leading law firms or in-house teams.

The candidate must be a Saudi National having legal work experience in Saudi Arabia and should be well versed with construction agreements, operations and maintenance agreements, joint venture agreements, PPP agreements, concession documents, construction disputes and corporate matters.

The successful candidate will:

assist the GCLO, and through the GCLO assist and advise all the group subsidiaries on all legal, commercial and contractual matters, including dispute management and claims handling;

draft, negotiate, and review a range of commercial agreements (including construction contracts, operations and maintenance agreements, PPP / concession agreements and other project documents) and claims, while providing expert legal counsel across corporate, finance, and commercial matters;

work closely with the team to ensure that all operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements and mitigate potential risks;

conduct legal research on the assigned matters;

provide day-to-day legal advice on a variety of issues, including procurement, PPP, construction, operations and maintenance, claims, and compliance with laws;

assist in drafting and updating internal policies and procedures related to legal and regulatory compliance;

maintain organized and up-to-date legal records, files, and documentation;

assist with the preparation of legal reports, memos, and presentations for senior management;

assist and advise group entities on all legal matters; and

all such matters assigned by GCLO.
