Role Description The Legal Counsel & Compliance Officer will be responsible for overseeing legal matters and regulatory compliance across Rosalte's operations. This full-time, on-site role is based in Qesm El Sheikh Zaid and involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, preparing legal documents, and providing clear legal advice on company activities. The role includes monitoring applicable laws and regulations, identifying potential legal risks, and implementing policies to ensure ongoing compliance. The Legal Counsel & Compliance Officer will collaborate with management and internal teams to support business decisions, handle legal issues related to commercial activities, and maintain appropriate documentation and records. The role requires a fluent English speaker who can communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Law, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation and regulations.
• Proficiency in Contract Negotiation and Legal Document Preparation to support commercial and operational agreements.
• Experience identifying, analyzing, and resolving Legal Issues, including providing practical Legal Advice to business stakeholders.
• Fluent English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills; additional languages are an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B) or equivalent; professional legal certification or bar membership is preferred.
• Prior experience as in-house counsel or compliance officer, ideally within retail, FMCG, or a related industry.
• Strong attention to detail, high ethical standards, and the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
• Capability to work on-site in Qesm El Sheikh Zaid and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
