Job Summary
We are hiring for one of our clients seeking an experienced Attorney to contribute litigation expertise to the development of advanced legal AI systems.
In this role, you will apply your skills in legal research, writing, discovery management, and litigation strategy to help design evaluation frameworks and improve AI-driven legal analysis. This opportunity is well suited for seasoned litigators who enjoy working with complex legal documents and contributing to technology-enabled legal innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop structured legal rubrics used in AI-driven document review and legal analysis systems
- Conduct advanced legal research and draft detailed memoranda to support AI model training and evaluation
- Analyze large volumes of litigation documents to identify key issues, legal arguments, and relevant patterns
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate legal expertise into actionable requirements for AI systems
- Review and evaluate AI-generated outputs to ensure accuracy and legal relevance
- Support development of templates for case strategy, motion practice, and legal reasoning frameworks
- Continuously refine evaluation criteria to align with evolving legal standards and best practices
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree
- Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Minimum 5 years of litigation experience, particularly in document-intensive matters
- Strong experience managing discovery processes and complex legal document reviews
- Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Demonstrated expertise in issue spotting and legal document analysis
- Experience developing litigation strategies and drafting motions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Comfortable working in remote, digital-first environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Law Review or Journal Editorial experience
- Experience with substantive editing, cite-checking, and publication review of legal scholarship
- Familiarity with technology-assisted legal research or legal AI tools
