Job Description
- Bachelor's degree in law (LL.B. or equivalent), preferably from a recognized Arabic university.
- LL.M. or master's degree in law from a recognized university in the UK or USA is preferred.
- Qualified lawyer with 3 - 5 years of post-qualification legal experience (PQE).
- Preferably trained and gained substantive experience within a reputable law firm.
- Preferably with previous legal experience in Qatar is preferred, with familiarity with the Qatari legal and regulatory environment.
- Fully bilingual in Arabic and English, with excellent written and spoken proficiency in both languages.
- Strong legal drafting, contract review, legal research and analytical skills in both Arabic and English.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to produce consistently high-quality legal work.
- Strong sense of ownership, responsibility and accountability for assigned matters.
- Hard-working, dedicated and proactive, with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the wider team.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage several matters and competing priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and consistently meet agreed deadlines and timeframes.
- Commercially minded and able to provide practical, business-focused legal advice.
