Job Title: Legal Counsel (AI & Digital Contracts Focus)

As part of this evolution, the company is looking for a forward-thinking Legal Counsel to play a key role in shaping the future of AI-driven legal operations and contract lifecycle management (CLM).

Role Overview

This role goes beyond traditional legal support. The Legal Counsel will act as a bridge between law, product, and AI, contributing to the development of AI-powered legal agents, automated contracting workflows, and scalable legal infrastructure.

You will combine strong commercial legal expertise with a product and systems mindset, helping transform legal knowledge into automated, intelligent, and scalable solutions, while ensuring full alignment with the Saudi legal and regulatory framework.

Key Responsibilities

Core Legal Ownership

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements (customer, supplier, partnerships, NDAs, etc.)

• Provide advice on legal risk, deal structuring, and negotiations

• Support day-to-day legal matters across the business

• Develop templates, playbooks, and legal frameworks

• Monitor regulatory developments in Saudi Arabia

AI Legal Agents & Automation

• Contribute to building AI-powered legal agents for contract review and analysis

• Translate legal knowledge into rules, logic, and automated workflows

• Ensure AI outputs align with Saudi legal standards and enforceability

• Collaborate with product and engineering on AI and automation initiatives

Product & CLM Enablement

• Own and enhance the CLM platform (templates, clause libraries, workflows)

• Identify and improve contracting bottlenecks and processes

• Translate legal requirements into scalable product features

Legal Support for Growth & Customer Trust

• Support commercial teams in negotiations, redlines, and RFPs

• Act as a legal representative in client and partner discussions

• Provide guidance on digital agreements and regulatory positioning

Legal Thought Leadership & Market Education

• Contribute to legal thought leadership in legal tech and AI

• Support internal teams with legal enablement and knowledge sharing

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in commercial law

• Strong knowledge of Saudi laws and regulations

• Experience in contract drafting and negotiations

• Background in a technology or legal tech company

• Interest in AI, legal tech, or automation

• Fluency in Arabic and English
