Job Description

Job Purpose

Provide strategic legal support to the Group's Commodity Trading businesses, ensuring legal compliance, risk mitigation, and protection of the Company's interests across complex domestic and international transactions.

Key Responsibilities

Advise management on corporate, commercial, and regulatory legal matters.
Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts and agreements.
Lead legal support for M&A transactions, joint ventures, investments, and corporate restructurings.
Review and negotiate financing agreements, project finance, and structured trade finance transactions.
Draft, review, and negotiate Gas Sales Agreements (GSAs) and Gas Transportation Agreements (GTAs).
Advise on corporate governance, board matters, and regulatory compliance.
Manage external legal counsel and oversee litigation and dispute resolution matters when required.
Identify legal risks and provide commercially practical solutions to business stakeholders.

About You

Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB), qualified lawyer.
12+ years of experience in Commodity Trading.
Strong experience in Cross-Border Transactions.
Proven experience negotiating Gas Sales Agreements (GSAs) and Gas Transportation Agreements (GTAs).
Experience within Oil & Gas, Energy, LNG, Infrastructure, Commodities Trading, or Industrial Projects.
Strong understanding of corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
Previous experience with multinational companies, energy developers, trading houses, or top-tier law firms is preferred.
Excellent contract negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
