Job Description

About The Role

The Legal Executive will support the Head of

Legal in the execution of Saudi legal workstreams, including commercial

contracting, legal research, regulatory summaries, bilingual Arabic-English

drafting, documentation management, internal follow-up and coordination with

external counsel. The role provides strong legal support at the preparation,

execution and follow-through level, ensuring that legal workstreams are

properly documented, reviewed and progressed in a timely manner.

Silq is operating in an environment where the

Legal function supports regulatory positioning, commercial structuring,

financing arrangements, funding readiness, product governance, supplier and

buyer arrangements, internal approvals, external counsel coordination and

bilingual Saudi law documentation. The Legal Executive will enable the Head of

Legal to focus on strategic direction and senior stakeholder alignment, while

reducing reliance on external counsel for execution-level work.

Location: Dammam, Saudi Arabia

Reporting to: Head of Legal

What You'll Be Doing

Commercial Contracting Support — Prepare first drafts and review supplier agreements, customer terms,

reseller arrangements, NDAs, service agreements, commercial schedules, notices

and routine operational contracts.

Legal Research and Regulatory Summaries — Conduct first-level research on SAMA-related matters, payment services,

financing, fintech, PDPL, AML/KYC, e-commerce and Saudi commercial law, and

prepare concise summaries for review.

Strategic Project Support — Support

strategic implementation work including documentation preparation, trackers,

commercial schedules, supplier/buyer documentation, closing checklists.

SAMA and Regulatory Readiness — Assist

with regulatory mapping, document collection, research notes, internal memos

and external counsel coordination in relation to the SAMA licensing and

regulatory pathway.

External Funding Readiness — Assist

with document management, contract clean-up, due diligence preparation,

corporate documents, trackers and coordination with external counsel for

investor-facing or funding-related workstreams.

Bilingual Arabic-English Drafting — Prepare and review Arabic and English documents, ensure consistency

between both versions and escalate any legal or commercial inconsistencies for

further review.

Internal Stakeholder Coordination — Follow up with finance, product, commercial, operations and compliance

teams to collect information, prepare drafts, manage trackers and ensure that

legal requests progress efficiently.

Future Jurisdictional Expansion — Assist with preliminary legal research, documentation mapping and

external counsel coordination as Silq considers expansion into other GCC or

regional jurisdictions.

Legal Operations and Documentation Control — Maintain legal trackers, contract repositories, approval records,

version control, execution checklists and internal legal documentation.

What We're Looking For

  • 3 to 6 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a commercial, finance, fintech,

technology, marketplace or startup environment.

  • Strong Arabic and English legal drafting skills.
  • Familiarity with SAMA-related matters, or the ability to conduct research on SAMA, payment

services, financing, fintech and related Saudi regulatory frameworks.

  • Ability to draft and review commercial agreements, supplier agreements, customer terms,

NDAs, platform terms, notices and routine legal documents.

  • Good understanding of commercial risk, payment flows, settlement mechanics and

contractual protections.

  • Ability to support multiple internal stakeholders and follow through on execution in a

fast-moving startup environment.

  • Saudi national preferred, given the Saudi regulatory, Arabic drafting and

localisation requirements of the role.

Skills That Set You Apart

  • Strong legal research and memo-writing skills with an ability to distil complex regulatory

issues into actionable summaries.

  • Practical legal judgment and ownership mindset — able to manage trackers, close

documentation loops and escalate appropriately.

  • Experience with due diligence processes, contract repositories and legal operations in a

structured environment.

Exposure to fintech, payments, PDPL, AML/KYC or SAMA regulatory frameworks is a strong

advantage.
