About The Role

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal counsel to business teams to support commercial objectives and mitigate risk in North Africa and Middle East markets
• Conduct legal risk assessments and recommend practical, business-focused solutions.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on a broad range of commercial agreements.
• Support contract disputes, investigations, and litigation matters in partnership with internal stakeholders.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments and translate them into actionable business guidance.
• Drive initiatives that strengthen collaboration, inclusion, and culture within the legal function.
• Contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and organizational effectiveness.
  
  

Essential Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with active bar admission in Egypt.
• Around five years of experience providing legal support in a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of commercial law, contract drafting, negotiation, and legal risk management.
• Proven ability to deliver practical legal advice that supports business objectives.
• Fluency in Arabic and English, French would be a plus
• Experience working effectively within a complex, matrixed international organization.
